The Met Office has issued an amber wind alert and yellow rain alert for Scotland as Storm Amy approaches, bringing winds up to 100mph and heavy rainfall. Disruptions are expected this afternoon and evening, particularly in the Central Belt. Many ScotRail and ferry services have already been cancelled in anticipation of the storm.
