NHS Lanarkshire will implement a digital triage system, eTriage, in Scotland’s emergency departments to enhance patient assessment. Patients will self-register, allowing for real-time monitoring of urgent cases. This system aims to improve patient experience and decision-making, ultimately working alongside existing processes, with full rollout planned for multiple hospitals.
