Commuters face disruptions on Newhousemill Road due to an accident that has closed Newhousemill Bridge until March 25. Significant damage requires three weeks of repairs. A diversion is established through High Common Road, A726 Strathaven Road, A725 Kingsway, and several other streets to redirect traffic.

Best to avoid Newhousemill Road at the moment. There’s a car stuck as of lunchtime today, with approaching vehicles having to turn around.
