When he arrived in Blantyre in October 1976 with his wife and young family, he spoke of the great hope for the church and the deluge of kindness and welcome messages he had received. He commented that he felt very settled at the High Blantyre manse, almost immediately. He was a very popular minister, well known and respected and I’m sure the news of his passing, will be a shock to many. He leaves a wife Lynda and grown up family.
