Thursday 1st October 2015 will be a day residents of Loanend and Flemington will remember. Surveyors descended upon the fields between Malcolmwood and Letterick to erect a 50 foot wind mast which was done in 1 day. The mast is a precursor to a larger wind turbine expected to be go to planning at the end of this year. The mast is fiercely opposed to, not just for it’s proximity to residents, but also due to the fact that money generated from it will not to the local area.
A large, structured and focused campaign of opposition is now about to commence in the local area.
