Last chance for £10

Falls out of circulation at midnight

Today, Wednesday 28th February 2018 is the last chance you have to spend your paper £10. The traditional paper note will become worthless at shops, restaurants, pubs and other businesses from tomorrow after being permanently replaced with the new modern polymer version.

Scots have until midnight tonight to spend the remaining paper notes still in circulation.

After that, for a short time only, you’ll need to make a trip to a bank to change them. (The same bank as the note was issued from).
