Is your car Insurance still valid?
Loads of posts appearing online saying that ‘you won’t be covered if you drive in this unprecedented weather under the current RED ALERT.’
To clarify on that……Most insurers WILL actually cover driving during a red alert, but certain things are triggered that could be deemed “contributory negligence”, rendering SOME claims invalid. Also, some policies may insure only comprehensive but not always 3rd party under these conditions. It differs from policy to policy, company to company.
