Tonight, Monday 23rd April 2018, we have the pleasure of being a guest at the re-launch night of the renovated Concert Hall and Function Suite at Blantyre Miner’s Welfare.
As you probably know, following the fire last year, this large hall at Calder Street was extensively damaged and has now undergone a complete refit.
The party is underway as our pictures show. The room is looking truly wonderful, tastefully decorated, an amazing sound and lighting system and wow! The Dance floor is just spectacular! Yet another first class entertainment venue that Blantyre can truly be proud of.
Guests of all ages are currently enjoying themselves, with live music, refreshments and great company.
We’d like to say thanks to the Miners Welfare and especially to Mick McCann for inviting us along and hopefully our pictures show how successful a night it is.
