Blantyre Photographer’s GiftKnowing TV personality Gavin Mitchell, aka “Boaby” from Still Game lost his parents to cancer, local photographer Lesley Smith approached him with a kind offer.
Lesley, winner of Urban & Landscape Photographer of the Year 2016, took some fantastic photos of the Red Road Flats being demolished in 2015. This was an area of Glasgow that Gavin had grew up in, an area very nostalgic for him.
In memory of his parents, Gavin was gifted photos of his former home and promised Lesley he would make a donation to a cancer charity in return for her kindness.
