Local man John Paul Doyle has done it again! He’s only just gone and organised another amazing successful fundraiser. The kind hearted gent through organising a charity football match, has managed to raise as astonishing £3,041.00.
On the 16th June 2018 John Paul Doyle undertook one of his biggest event planned. Over the past two years he’s organised and completed events for St. Andrews Hospice such as a 12 Hour Football Match and a 12 Hour Cycle, both raising over £2500.
This year John Paul organised an 11 aside football match and race night for Maggie’s Center Lanarkshire. He told Blantyre Telegraph recently, “I would like to thank everyone one who has backed me in this event, from my mum and dad who paid the cost of the pitch, to MacGregor Flooring for all there support and to Glasgow Reds for accepting our invitation to play in the match and also for there huge donation. This was by far the biggest event I’ve every organised.”
How amazing to see young people so actively involved in raising money for charity, something we think is truly admirable! Well done John Paul.
