Crime: Farm Road House Break in

farmFarm Road, Low Blantyre

A house on Farm Road, Low Blantyre was broken into last night resulting in the theft of a home computer.

Sometime in the darker, early hours of Thursday 20th September 2018, a door believed to have been accidentally unlocked was opened by unknown thief/thieves.

A computer was stolen. The householder who wishes to remain anonymous told us, “There was no [signs of] entry but I was sure I had locked the door before going to bed. This morning, the door was ajar and I noticed my computer is missing. It’s an old, broken one and the thief may have been disturbed but please can you post anyway.”

This follows TWO other break ins at Farm Road last week where a terraced sash window was forced and a 3 figure sum of cash was stolen and at another detached property where a householder returned from work to find his property had been targeted.

We ask residents to remain vigilant and as always report anything suspicious to police right away, no matter how trivial you think it may be.
