Roadworks at Farm Road

Contractors have been surfacing the carriageway at Farm Road, Blantyre today. Some disruption was unfortunately experienced by local residents, though on the plus side, work has been completed faster than the expected 3 days. Fencing was taken away during the afternoon.

Roadworks at Farm Road

South Lanarkshire Council will be working at Farm Road, Blantyre this week undertaking carriageway patchwork repairs. Setting up tomorrow, Monday 10th July 2023 work is scheduled to take place between the junction of Bruce Terrace and Thornhill Avenue. Works are expected to last 3 days and temporary traffic lights will be in place.

Flytipping at the Dandy

Looks like someone has been fly-tipping garden waste down the bottom of Thornhill Avenue (the Dandy). The mess is just about 50 yards up from Farm Road on right hand side.
