A local family were terrorised by a gang of youths at Farm Road yesterday, Wednesday 22nd January 2020.
Around 7.20pm last night, the window of a house at Farm Road/Moffat Place was deliberately smashed by passing youths, the shattered glass narrowly missing the occupants, some of whom are very young children.
The group of idiots who did this are aged between 12 and 15 years and were seen throwing stones on Farm Road and are believed to be the same group who recently caused disorder at Station Road by similar means.
Police were called and are trying to trace those responsible. The angry house owner told us, “Parents of these youths should be ashamed of themselves and should be held accountable for such actions!”
