Alert! Welsh Drive
We’ve just had a concerning report that door handles have just been “tried” at Welsh Drive, Blantyre this afternoon.
Somebody has been attempting to enter properties illegally by systematically going round each door, ‘trying handles’ to see if any are unlocked.
A concerned lady resident told us, “My neighbour, who lives downstairs just had their door handle tried. However, it was locked so they didn’t manage to gain entry. Please could you share.”
No descriptions are currently available of the person(s). This alert is provided to raise awareness to keep doors locked even in daylight hours and in case they’re still in the vicinity.
