Police are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run on Glasgow Road today, Friday 20th November 2018.
Around 2.50pm, Trisha Maider and her husband were in their car driving along Glasgow Road when their vehicle was hit by another at the lights near Stonefield Tavern.
Police were called and it was found that the innocent couple sustained injuries. They are currently at Hairmyres Hospital. We hope they make a speedy recovery.
The car which hit them sped off and was a black BMW driven by a male with black hair.
