Meet William Boyle, the Hamilton Care workers with an amazing secret talent! He’s a great operatic singer too!
William has worked with people with dementia now for nearly 4 years, often working 12 hour shifts, looking after people who need 24 hour care. With such a tough job, William decided to sing to residents to settle them, lift their mood or just make them smile.
Here is a video of him performing ‘Nessun Dorma’ to his captivated audience of residents and the amazing team he works with day in and out.
William told us this evening, “My dream is to be a singer. I sing opera for my residents to settle them and lift their spirits. My dream is to one day be on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and for Simon Cowell to hear me sing.”
We’re sure you’ll all agree, William has a terrific voice and those care residents are lucky to have such talent on tap.
