Many residents in Blantyre awoke this morning to find their cars clamped.
Vehicles without tax have been targeted by “Car Tax Enforcement” who placed clamps on each, which can only be released once the car tax is paid and then paying a FURTHER £100 to have it unclamped.
Many Vehicles in Blantyre were clamped during the evening of Thursday 27th December into the early hours of this morning, Friday 28th December 2018, the enforcement widespread.
Every vehicle registered in the United Kingdom (UK) must be taxed if used or kept on a public road. If the vehicle is kept off-road it must either be taxed or have a SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification) in force. If not it could be wheelclamped or removed.
