Breaking News: A serious police incident is currently unfolding on Wolcott Drive, just off Stonefield Road, Blantyre.
At 9.30pm Saturday 29th December 2018, police were in heavy attendance with 4 cars, positioned at either end and cordoned off parts of the street and homes near Orchard Drive. We won’t be speculating on anything suggested to us in messages this evening, but it is understood that the attendance of an ambulance was required at the scene.
As of 10pm, 2 officers remain positioned in the street, with police cars stationed in nearby streets. Meantime, the area is best avoided if possible.
