If you receive an incoming call from persons purporting to be from Virgin Media who are querying your account details and attempting to obtain personal information or asking for payment then be advised this is a SCAM. End the call and contact police via 101.
If you receive any unsolicited phone call asking you for ANY personal or financial details or asking you to make a payment by money transfer or in vouchers end the call immediately. If you need to contact a company like Virgin Media, Talk Talk etc or an organisation like HMRC then do so by calling on a publicly listed number.
None of the above organisations will cold call you to ask for payment via money transfer or in vouchers.
Scammers target the elderly and vulnerable and victims often lose their life savings which are unable to be refunded by banks.
