We’ve finally resolved production and publication issues and we’re excited to announce we’ll shortly be launching a brand new, glossy magazine!
Some people may remember we once had a little newsletter offline? Well, consider this a HUGE upgrade with a fantastic, informative small publication, all set to launch at the end of the month.
Priced at just £2 with all proceeds entirely going towards local good causes, our new, fully colour, professional monthly magazine aims to reach people throughout the Blantyre area, including those offline without a computer. Advertising opportunities will be available for local businesses in due course.
Jam packed with all the latest Blantyre news, jobs, articles, photos and event listings, the magazine is hopefully interesting and informative and contains stories we’ve held back from our websites. At £2 a month, with printing kindly subsidised by Gavin Watson Printers, we guarantee it will represent the most excellent value for money, with every single penny raised going to Blantyre good causes. We retain no fee at all.
We have already secured TWO brilliant, enthusiastic initial outlets where it will be sold. Jinxy’s Bakery at Main Street, High Blantyre and Strachan Butchers on Glasgow Road, Low Blantyre. We’ll be adding further outlets in the coming weeks.
