We were saddened tonight to learn of the sad passing of popular local man, John Taggart.
John sadly gained his wings at 5.40am yesterday, Tuesday 26 March 2019. He was by his loving family and is now at peace with his mum, dad and sister.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Receiving at St Joseph’s RC Church on Glasgow Road on Monday 1st April 2019 at 6:30pm. Followed by the Funeral mass at St Joseph’s Church on Tuesday 2nd April 2019 at 10am. Thereafter to South Lanarakshire Crematorium, Sydes Brae, High Blantyre for 11am.
John’ daughter Pauline added, “We would like to thank each and everyone of you who took time to message and send cards and flowers. Our dad was a very well known man in Blantyre and would have been overwhelmed by everyone’s thoughts and kindness.”
