Heritage Park Re-opens for Season

It’s time to hoist the sails for another exciting new season of water sports at James Hamilton Heritage Park in East Kilbride.

The water sport centre officially re-opened on Saturday 4th May picking up where the very successful 2018 season left off.

The Centre’s fully qualified team of instructors are ready and waiting for anyone who fancies dipping their toe in the water and having a go at a new water sport or to help those who have already taken the dive to gain more experience and build on their skills.

James Hamilton Heritage Park can offer a wide range of taster sessions and courses with activities incluing canoeing, dinghy sailing, windsurfing  and power boating.

The 2019 Activity Programme is now online for booking up until October and the Activity Programme also contains information on after-school clubs, birthday parties and the ever popular school summer holiday activities.

In addition to the thrills and spills of water sport activities, the loch will be available for open water swimming sessions on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings. Coached and Non Coached sessions are available.

The open water swimming sessions provide the perfect preparation for the Aquathon Team Relay event which takes place on Saturday 15th June.
