A body found in East Kilbride woodland last night is today confirmed as Billie Mullen (29).
Billie had been missing from in hometown of East Kilbride for 4 days since last weekend. Sadly, she was found at around 8pm last night, Wednesday 5th June 2019 within a wooded area near to Lickprivick Road in Greenhills. Her family now informed.
A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death and police are treating the death as unexplained at this time.
Our sympathies go out to her family and friends at this sad time.
