Staff at ScottishPower in High Blantyre have donated £1000 to the Haven.
ScottishPower staff Jackie Higgins and Maureen Park recently visited the centre to proudly present the cheque which was raised from various raffles over the festive period last year.
Jackie said: “All the money raised from the raffles we run goes into one big charity pot and we decided we would like to donate this to local charities, and have done so for the last few years.
“Some of these charities we have chosen have personally touched the hearts of staff and supported them or their relatives through illness.
“This year we chose to make a donation to The Haven as they do so much for the local community and we wanted to support them in the work they do.”
This fantastic donation will allow The Haven to continue to deliver free, tailored and unique services to those who need it most.
