June 2019 Fundraising

Our fundraising totals for end of June are now in and has now been allocated to local good causes.

During June, Blantyre Telegraph has raised £179 towards local good causes! Our fundraising now reaches a new updated amazing total of £25,286 for 141 local good causes to date since 2015!

Fundraising was from various sources:

£122.00 from the sales of Edition 3 (June) Magazine.
£32.00 from Magazine Advertising.
£8.00 from public subscriptions on our website.
£10.00 from public donations on our website.
£7.00 from the sale of Blantyre Project books.
£0.00 from Website Advertising. 

Every penny raised goes entirely to local good causes, as always. We’re pleased to announce, this has been spent as follows:

£100.00 to Calderside Nursery to help replace play equipment burned down by vandals
£34.00 to High Blantyre lady to buy flowers to replace those stolen from her garden
£30.00 to Priory Bridge resident to buy a nice meal from Carrigans following his recent chemotherapy.
£15.00 for Craig at Hyper Cyber for 2 cinema tickets as congratulations on passing his driving test.

How to get Involved supporting the Community

There are several fantastic ways you can support Blantyre Telegraph.
