Can you or your child bake? Or do you just love to eat cake?
Well, South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture are hosting the first “Big Blantyre Bake Off” at Blantyre Library on Saturday 10th August 2-4pm.
Be an entrant by registering and bringing something you’ve baked on the day to be judged! Or come along as a judge to try all the delicious treats and rate them. Organisers will reveal the winners of 3 categories (Under 5s, 5-16yrs and Adults) at the event who’ll get plaques and prizes! Everyone else gets to enjoy cupcake making and tea, coffee and juice.
It’s free to enter and bring something you’ve baked.
Judges pay £3.30 to try as many bakes as they like plus there will be tea/coffee/juice and cupcake decorating for all.
Entrants please register at Blantyre Library or call 01698 823 808 prior to the event and bring your bakes at 2pm on the day. Judges drop in between 2 and 3.15pm. Winners announced at 3.30pm on the day. See you there!
