Railway Tunnel repairs are underway at Blantyrefereme.
Contractors have set up a works compound at Caldervale, as a base, including the creation of a turning circle just off the main road. The road tunnel under the railway dates from the mid 19th Century and was recently identified as requiring necessary repair work.
We will advise in due course if any disruption to traffic is planned.
