A kind Blantyre man, gave a generous offer to help relieve some of the misery for people affected by the collapse of Thomas Cook.
After the collapse of the travel firm, Wasim Arshad of Mr Chef Takeaway in Uddingston decided to offer all those affected, free pizzas. A lovely gesture indeed.
247 free pizzas given out in 5 days to those affected with 8 Thomas cook cabin crew also popping in along with a couple whose honeymoon was ruined too. The stories touched their hearts. (and it seems, their stomachs!)
