Well done to everybody involved in a brilliant local litter pick earlier today, Sunday 6th October 2019.
The event was masterminded by Greig Reilly, who rallied the Priory Bridge Residents Association, quickly finding volunteers.
Greig told us, “Having noticed litter strewn across the river and grass areas, some of the locals of Priory Bridge got together and decided to do something about it.”
The council was contacted, and they kindly supplied litter pickers and bags, as well as collection of the eventual full bags.
As you can see many residents were in attendance, and everyone got stuck in and gave 100% effort. Well done to all involved.
