We’re absolutely bowled over by an incredible donation of £1,000 given to us this week by a very kind lady.
Wishing to remain anonymous, this kind soul has been impressed by Blantyre Telegraph’s fundraising & magazine and decided to contribute handsomely to Blantyre good causes. We met up with her in High Blantyre earlier in the week.
We’ll be contacting several community groups before the end of the month, to make sure it’s entirely distributed to local good causes in a transparent manner and to maximum benefit of as many people as possible. Blantyre Telegraph will manage this process and retain nothing. It is expected that the full amount will be allocated and notified prior to 31st October.
Such generosity is extremely appreciated. We’ll be contacting several local groups in due course.
