Do we have an AMAZING Competition for you!!! Ever wanted to switch on an ENTIRE town’s Festive Lights? Well THIS is your chance!
On behalf of Blantyre Community Committee we’re launching an exciting appeal seeking an individual of ANY age, (child or adult) OR an entire family who would be worthy candidate(s) for switching on the lights at the town’s festive event on Sunday 24th November 2019.
You may nominate yourself, perhaps a partner or somebody in your family, children in your family or ALL your family, a friend or colleague. All ages welcomed!
The winning, lucky individual(s) OR family will get to stand on the stage at the event in front of thousands of people and with a backwards countdown, get to PRESS THE BIG RED BUTTON, switching on Blantyre’s Christmas lights all at once and of course meet Santa and get a pressie or two!!! The Committee will do everything automatically for you. All you need to do is turn up!
Nomination is EASY and takes just a couple of minutes!
HOW TO ENTER:
STEP 1: Choose WHO you want to nominate (please check they live in Blantyre and the availability of the individual or family first. They must be available on Sunday 24th November 2019 for 4.20pm lights switch on)
STEP 2: Put their full name(s) in the comments section below
The Committee will be choosing a random winner live on Friday 1st November 2019 at 8pm.
