A Glasgow male has now been charged in connection with stabbing a local man at Blantyre Train Station.
The incident happened one Sunday evening last month (November) when a man in his 50s was attacked requiring to be taken to Hairmyres Hospital. He was later discharged.
As police followed up enquiries, it led them to a 32 year old Glasgow man who has since been charged, with a court date set. British Transport Police thanked the public for their assistance in the investigation.
