CCTV cameras picked up a male in the early hours this morning at Coatshill, walking around trying door handles.
One resident who was alerted when his door handle was tried shared photos adding, “around 3.30am, this man was seen walking away in the direction of Devondale Avenue, through Craigton Place then onto Morven Avenue in the direction of the Scotmid.”
We have several reports this week of door handles on vehicles and homes being tried. This is clearly opportunistic. Be vigilant. Keep anything of value out of sight and doors locked.
