A lady at Kirkton Avenue has this evening disturbed an unknown man who was in her neighbours car!
As she returned home, she noticed the man sitting in the car. With her dad, they confronted the man, who asked them for a lighter before admitting it was not his car. He casually got out and left, walking away on Kirkton Avenue towards the higher end. This was at 11.15pm this evening, Wednesday 18 December 2019.
The male is described as 6 foot tall, wearing all black. Police have been called by the residents.
With vehicle thefts this week, we would remind people to double check their car and home doors are locked.
