A serious accident has this evening closed off the road in both direction at Burnbank. (As though you’re heading to Hamilton).
Police have closed off the road just after 7.30pm this evening, Sunday 5th January 2020 and other emergency services are in attendance. Local residents are stating this has been a ‘particularly bad vehicle accident’ and the area should be avoided meantime.
Diversion is still possible through Burnbank Centre.
