A Vauxhall Vivaro van was broken into on Calderglen Avenue yesterday morning and expensive work tools were stolen. Police have been called and will be in touch today to take a statement.
This follows a spate of vehicle breakins this week in several Blantyre streets. Hopefully local CCTV will help identify the person/people responsible. Please be vigilant, especially if you have works vans.
