A van was broken into last night during the early hours of Thursday 16th April.
The vehicle was parked up in Winton Crescent, near the junction of Burnbrae Avenue in Blantyre when a thief or thieves broke in. However, their luck ran out when they discovered the van was completely empty, used normally to transport dogs. Nothing was taken in this instance but it’s a reminder to be vigilant. There has been several reports in the last week or so of vehicles being broken into.
