The First Minister has today announced measures and dates for businesses to reopen in Scotland. We’re exploring some of them today.
Many of us have missed Pubs and Restaurants being open. To be able to have a pint with pals, a night out with friends and sit with family for a nice meal in our favourite restaurants. There will be relief in the industry as a whole, as a date is finally given for a planned re-opening indoors. Nicola Sturgeon confirmed,
“We intend that pubs and restaurants will open indoors from the 15th of July, but on a limited basis initially and subject to a number of conditions. Detailed guidance will be issued as soon as possible“
It should be noted, covid is still out there. It’s not all over, so careful measures will need to be in place for this industry in particular. Guidance is expected in the coming days.
