There’s another chance to see planet Mars very clearly in the night sky this evening, Sunday 9th August 2020 when its visible to the naked eye.
The Moon will be sweeping past Mars tonight 9th August 2020. You’ll find them ascending in the east (look towards Hamilton) late at night as it gets dark low on the horizon, or at their highest in the sky just before sunrise tomorrow. Mars will be a red point of light to the left of the moon.
Last night was also a perfect time to see the red planet.
