Royal Mail are a key partner for government’s coronavirus testing programme. They are collecting completed test kits from priority postboxes or from homes as part of the government programme.
Covid Testing kits don’t get handed into postoffices. They get posted in special postboxes. In Blantyre there are two. One is outside the ASDA Cafe and the other is on High Blantyre’s Main Street near Cut n Shave. NHS logos are apparent on priority postboxes.
Postal Delivery workers have been specially trained to uplift these kits from the boxes.
The article comes after one postal worker told us, “They’re in white boxes with a tracked 24 royal mail stamp. Instructions are on them for how to return but instructions are not being followed.”
