Local postman David Lawson is retiring after 48 years with Royal Mail.
Pictured here at Loanend recently, David, affectionately known by colleagues as ‘Duke’ has spent a long career of nearly 5 decades delivering the mail. From Eastfield to Blantyre, his deliveries took him on more rural routes around Cambuslang, Blantyre and East Kilbride.
Always delivering with a smile, in all weather, he will be face much missed as he now hangs up his mailbag. Thank you from us all.
