The earlier snow has now almost melted as temperatures lift this afternoon to around 4 or 5 degrees. However, the meltwater has created some new problems.
Flooded roads and heavy rain is causing further difficult driving conditions. If driving, a warning reminder to take care, slow down and be more mindful of ice and rain today. This comes amidst reports of several earlier serious accidents.
