How amazing to see the brand new Defibrillator installed at Jacks of Blantyre shop, at HIgh Blantyre.
The expensive life saving equipment was raised by local woman Laura Jane Thomson after she witnessed a medical emergency in recent months. The machine is housed in special security casing, with only being able to call 999 to open it.
There’s another on Glasgow Road at Strachan Butchers, on the outside of their shop. You just never know when this will be needed and it literally could mean the difference between life and death for somebody local.
