It’s with sadness we hear of the passing of a lovely local lady.
Phoebe Jardine (89) sadly passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday 16th January 2021. She was 89. Phoebe had dementia for the last couple of years and passed peacefully in Douglas View Care Home.
She was well known around the village as the ‘woman with the wee white dogs’ as she was always out walking. The family would like to send a huge thank you to the care home staff who looked after her every day and made her happy and comfortable while she was there.
Our sympathies go out to all her family at this incredibly sad time.
