Nicola Sturgeon has today hinted that some proposed changes could be made to lockdown restrictions next week, giving people more ability to meet others.
In her address today, she started she is “hopeful relatively minor but important changes” can be considered for Scotland.
Changes could be made to the rules around meeting people outdoors and allowing young people to see friends outdoors. Greater clarity for business is also expected next week.
The news comes following good progress with the rollout of vaccines and falling numbers of people in hospital. With lighter nights and Spring around the corner, this seems good news to look forward to for many people.
