Following an incident at Hamilton Train Station last Saturday, Police have now charged four people.
A man was stabbed around 9.20pm on Saturday 13th March after alighting from the train. An altercation then followed, resulting in him being stabbed. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital by paramedics for treatment.
British Transport Police confirmed a 31-year-old man, 31-year-old woman, 16-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl were arrested this week on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident.
Officers issued an appeal for witnesses after the attack, and British Transport Police enquiries into the incident are still ongoing.
