Resurfacing work, which was expected to start shortly on Glasgow Road in Blantyre is now being rescheduled for operational reasons.
SLC told us, “The works, which will require the road to be closed between Mayberry Place and Station Road for four days, will now commence on Monday 18 October 2021, rather than September. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these essential works.”
It’s our understanding this work was rescheduled on compassionate grounds due to the amount of funerals planned at nearby churches during the next few weeks.
