The Post Office on Glasgow Road, Blantyre re-opens again tomorrow, Monday 25th October 2021.
Located through the back of the new Family Shopper Store (formerly Londis), the post office has had a revamp, with new accessible corridor built leading customers to a new area of the shop. In time, to the right of this photo, Billy’s Cafe will open in early November.
The post office has been tastefully and appropriately decorated with David Livingstone “stamps”, which is a nice touch for the community.
Run by the Agnew family, along with the Family Shopper and Agnews Food to go, the Post Office and Cafe means around 20 people have been employed, a welcome jobs boost for the area.
The post office opens from 9am – 6pm with usual hours maintained.
