Blantyre Toy Drive Closes Soon!

We’re in the final week of the Annual ‘Blantyre Toy Drive’! Whilst many hundreds of pounds and loads of toys have been donated, we’re still slightly short of our target. We therefore need YOUR help on our final push!

Throughout December, local people have been flocking to donate new toys or make financial donations to ensure local children get a FREE gift from Santa when he visits Blantyre this coming Saturday (more on that later). We’d love every child who walks through the door to get a free, brand new toy.

There’s still time to donate!

Can you spare a few pounds? Perhaps your business or organisation would like to make a donation or you can directly help?

In conjunction with Agnews Blantyre and Glen Travel, we’re hoping to light up loads of little faces (from babies to age 12) next weekend and hope YOU can help either by buying a toy or making a small financial donation.

The Blantyre Toy Drive has been a tremendous success in previous years and we hope with some further festive kindness, its shaping up to be another memorable campaign. Santa will be visiting Blantyre next weekend. We’ll be posting how your children can meet him and receive a free gift shortly.

There are 3 different ways YOU can help! >>>>

1. Make a financial contribution of ANY amount you choose by Paypal or card here:
https://theblantyretelegraph.com/donate/

2. or why not Subscribe to become a Blantyre Telegraph Supporter for only £1.79 which will unlock loads of extra news AND with full subscriptions going to the Toy Drive this month. Subscribe here or click the button below this post: https://www.facebook.com/271133402907727/support/

3. or why not directly hand a new toy into Glen Travel’s shop on Glasgow Road, Blantyre. Toys should be unwrapped, brand new and to the value of £5 or so.

Some people have been trying to donate, but were unable to pay by Paypal or card. If so, you can always choose a different way to help above.

Thank you for your kindness! Let’s get that target smashed!!!
