As most of us head into holiday mode, with the schools ending and most workplaces closing, we’d like to take this opportunity say a very special and massive “thank you” to those people who keep working through the holiday season.
Those who have to work through Christmas and New Year. The NHS Scotland workers, medical staff, doctors, nurses, surgeons, attendants, ambulance drivers, police, fire and all emergency services. Seasonal shop workers, ministers, taxi drivers, bar and restaurant staff. The people keeping things moving, looking after us all in our time of need or when we need a particular service at this time of year.
We’re sure readers will join us in wishing all those people a very Merry Christmas and an appreciative thank you for all that you do. Hoping they find some other time soon to be with their own families, celebrate and relax.
